Web Developer Entry-Level (Contract Position)

BizZone is an 18-year old company that is rolling-out an aggressive expansion plan into new markets while consolidating our existing base. We are now in "start-up" mode to make this happen.

We are looking for a talented web developer to work in our office for a 6 month contract, with the expectation that a full time position will follow upon the completion of a successful contract period.

We need someone who can hit the ground running and is already very comfortable with the LAMP environment, using JavaScript, jQuery, Angular, CSS3, HTML5 and the Bootstrap 3.0 framework to build highly interactive, functional websites. A strong understanding of UX is preferred, but the most important skills will be your proven PHP/JAVASCRIPT/HTML/CSS capabilities.

For the right candidate this will lead to a full time position.

Job responsibilities:

Convert Photoshop designs to responsive templates using Bootstrap
Install and customize web software modules
Build out complex websites and update client websites
Integrate third-party systems and databases through their APIs
Work with the support team to do bug fixes and small billable client requests
Work with other team members during implementation and deployment process
Work in a fast-paced, agile development environment

Job qualification + requirements:

University or college degree in web design and development, computer science or equivalent experience
Strong capabilities with front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, Javascript, Angular)
Web software integration experience
Intermediate Photoshop / graphics skills
Experience with mobile responsive template creation

Nice to have:

Experience with OO development in a LAMP environment (PHP, MySQL)
Source code control using Git
Demonstrable experience with UX software design
Experience with web writing / proofreading / content creation
