Biz-Zone is hiring: We are looking for a Web Designer

We are looking for a talented, outgoing web designer/developer to help us end-to-end in the execution of new web projects. To be successful in this position you must have strong design and web coding skills, be an excellent communicator who is well organized and enjoys working with clients. This role has varied tasks that includes working with the sales team to prepare proposals, website and GUI designs, HTML/CSS coding, client management and overall project management.
This is a key role in our growing team and is best suited to someone who is detail oriented, enjoys a challenge, likes working in a fast paced environment and who always strives for the highest standard of excellence.
Mandatory skills:
- Deep understanding of web standards
- Expert ability with HTML, CSS
- Strong web design portfolio
- Strong team player / leader
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Proven ability to work with clients through the full development process
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to manage large, complex projects
Bonus skills:
- Bilingualism (written & oral French)
- Understanding of PHP / MySQL integrations
- Familiarity with Flash / actionscript / video editing
- Experience working with Associations
All our positions involve working at our Gormley location, so you would need to have a way of getting to work. We do not yet have transit that stops nearby, so if you rely on transit to get around this may not be the position for you.
