Biz-Zone president featured on Persistence Pays TV webcast

Biz-Zone Internet Group Inc. president, Julie King, has been featured on the Persistence Pays show on NewsClipTV, where Julie talked about tips for adopting technology in business based on her role as the publisher and editor of CanadaOne.com.

Persistence Pays is a web-based interview show hosted by Lori Raudnash, who also is a published author of a book by the same name.

Lori interviewed Julie about CanadaOne.com, a website fully owned by Biz-Zone Internet Group Inc.

"I'm a huge believer in being strategic [and] … understanding what your business goals and objectives are for everything that you do, whether it's online or off-line," Julie told Lori on the show.

The host of Persistence Pays is a seasoned entrepreneur herself. Lori has over 30 years of sales experience and specializes in one of the most important things in business: closing the deal.

The interview with Julie highlighted many of the content-rich areas of CanadaOne, including the article library, ask-the-expert section, business directory and franchise centre.

In addition to outlining how CanadaOne can help small business owners during the interview, Julie also focused on the importance of adapting to new technologies.

"Being willing to embrace technological change and link that to your business processes, and find ways to find technology to improve your business processes," said Julie, "...I think almost every business in existence has the opportunity to improve."

She also shared insights from Nobel-laureate, Daniel Kahneman, and cautioned Canadian businesses to not blind themselves to the change that is happening.

"There's this idea in business that "what you see is all there is, so we need to make sure we don't put on blinkers and let the world race past us because we don't see the change that's coming," said Julie.
